Residential Smart Building

The role of residential smart buildings became crucial: from the one hand, thanks to their smartness, i.e. as automation (domotic) systems, they can gather important information about their energy consumption and occupants habits; on the other hand, they can also expose digital interfaces that enable an automatic and dynamic interaction with the smart grid, and the possibility of shaving their energy consumption with respect to the needs of the energy provider.
